well, we got 2 green candles in a row on TNA today, and the QQE signal indicator also flashed the first Long signal since early march. Looks like its seeing the fact TNA reclaimed the moving average and held it. Im personally not really bullish yet, we are still very much in the same bear flag pattern, still need to reclaim the longer time frame moving average, and again, the same level of resistance at 45 is still there and unbroken yet. But, it does look like we have some life returning at least. I've been stuck in this down turn for a while holding these shares, so I would love to see them start to make their way back up! ANY is still in a consolidation mode imo, and just seems to be playing in the .90-1.05 range. Would love to see this break back out, but again, I wouldn't be very surprised to see this one show further downside until we really see the return of the bull market phase.

Well, spy is still in the flag pattern, and has been hugging the 10 day moving average. Today we had some green, but again that 400 dollar level seems to acting as resistance. Plent of room to move either direction within this current pattern, so all bets are currently off. One thing I do find interesting...we hit the -20% level from ATH on friday which is a technical indicator of the bear market..and then monday we see the quick jump off this level... This could be meaningful....we shall see how the rest of the week plays out, but Id say this could also be a key level to watch to see if the bears will stay in control, or if the dip is done and we are ready to head back up.. Based on current news cycles....I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this was just a dead cat bounce. TNA - Been having some consolidation over the last week between the 43-33 areas. Im expecting more pain on this one. ANY

well, the market has been showing some strength, and given a few days of green candles now. Powell spoke today as well, but didn't really seem to add any news to the conversation this time, so it appears for today anyway, that the market didn't react with fear. We shall see what comes, but It is nice to finally see the challenge balance going in the right direction again - UP! Spy chart above...couple things to note...while yes we have had some green candles...sellers still were there and theses candles are not strongly bullish...theres still plenty of room in this chart pattern to rise and still be in a bear pattern...so until we recapture the 50 day moving average, or break out of the upper trendline and hold it...we still very much could still see more downside and a continuation of a bear market. We aren't out of the woods yet! Current balance - 4420 +341 today. Current challenge Plays - TNA - Ive been adding shares on this hard drop, picked some up in the 30s last week, and will be continuing to add to this till I have 100 shares and can start the wheel strategy on this leveraged ETF. My Any stock position you can see the market drop has gotten this to turn red on me, however...I am still lowering my average every month by selling covered calls against my 900 shares...this is just where patience is coming in...it may take me a few months, or even 6 months, but Ill just keep the wheel turning until these go my way, as I wont sell shares at a loss unless I fundamentally believe the company is headed under...in ANYs case, I don't believe that to be the case. Fear and inflation is ruling right now...not fundamentals. Fear has its day, but bear markets dont last forever. So, holdfast.

Got a lot going on this week with many potential market moving events....Ill be watching and learning but wont be entering any new positions this week, to many things going down to have any real trade plans

these 2 recent green candles have the challenge balance back over 4k now as well, 4171 current balance. Wouldn't be surprised to see more pain on the balance to come though. This is part of trading for sure - its best to accept there will be volatility and develop the fortitude to accept as such

Well, we finally have some green candles coming on TNA, very nice to see From here, the 40-dollar level will be a key level to get above and hold on...so far we have had 3 rejections of this level, so will be cautiously watching to see if we can get above this level. Spy is also showing some nice green candles on the last 2 days...have we found bottom ? Remains to be seen. We do have this larger term flag formed, so we really cant say if this bear run is over until we really break out of this pattern and start a new direction. In the mean time - I wouldn't be surprised to see further down side to come,

I know I haven't really been posting plays per say, as Ive become trapped so to speak holding some positions. Yes - the challenge account is currently down quite a bit from all-time highs... current balance 3889. ATH was in the low 6k range. Disappointing yes....but remember....this is still all profit as the account started with 300. Ive been adding shares lowering my average on TNA as its fallen, and I do feel eventually these shares will rebound...but in the mean time, we must be patient and learn from this as well. I should have had a trailing stop loss on these shares set while they were in profit, but I got greedy and didn't manage the position the best I could. Oart of the journey will always be reflecting on wins and losses, and not every trade goes perfectly according to plan, but many times, as in this case, its on me. my TNA shares were in profit, and I let them go red. Learn from that mistake, and apply to the trading rules, and move forward is the only path!

ANY - coming up to earnings for this ticker...this one I keep selling covered calls against my 900 shares which are down hard....keep bringing my average down, and hopefully this one will turn around eventually...but in the mean time, its just one Ill keep selling covered calls against with the intent to not allow them to be called away until back over my average on think or swim....

well, the market is definitely still seeing red...we are in full on correction....possible recession territory depending on who you ask. Spy is now down over 15% from highs, and when we zoom out to the weekly spy chart - We can see we have had over a month now of pretty large red candles... looking over at tna...we see the same thing playing out. intense red for weeks now...

well, monday we are back on the grind and back to trading. Things are looking pretty bleak in the market SPY - currently down about 15% from ATH, and still in the middle of the bear flag and plenty of room to fall further - no clear signs of any reversal coming. TNA - very beaten down still, big discounts on nearly every stock right now

man, talk about a choppy market....

Closed out my ANY wheel today and reset for a lower strike.

no clean entries today on spy so didn't pull the trigger.

Trade plan for 5/3 SPY - Long position - Entry over the level- 417.38 targeting the 421.36 area...but again...going to use a trailing stop on this as well, and try to collect any profit I can vs going for an Exact Exit. Market is to unpredictable right now....take any profit and be happy Stop loss 416. Contract in active trader 4 may 420 call. Short position - Entry under the break of 410 targeting the 406 level. Stop loss @ over 410 holding. Contract in active trader - 4 may 410 put

so today we did see a big candle, we touched down to 405 area, and then have this bounce back up...based on the rejection though, Im still leaning this could be a dead cat bounce. As you can also see in this chart pattern, we are right in the middle in no mans land...we could see a move either direction before we come to any real key levels. This is a time to Tread very carefully, keep tight stop losses, use trailing stops, and manage any plans carefully, as the market is still in a very bearish overall position.

well, trailing the move definitely payed off today, trade plan gave a nice 5 point move!
